We define success with four dimensions of wealth. We invest to create wealth beyond just making money - it’s deepening human relationships, positively impacting society, and creating something novel, while generating superior financial returns over time.
Investing for this definition of success requires a disciplined mindset and capital efficient approach to business building. It requires intentionality, patience, and a focus on earned revenue over raising excessive capital, giving founders more control and ownership.
Over two decades of early-stage investing, we've seen that founders who balance financial strength with relationships, society, and innovation are best positioned to build enduring businesses. We have developed a framework around this philosophy which we call 4D Wealth ("4DW").
Inspired by some of the founders we’ve partnered with in the past, 4DW is the cornerstone of our investment strategy. In fact, the founders we invest in are inherently operating in a 4DW manner despite not being familiar with the framework. It is the foundation of both our underwriting process and our measure of success.
